USS Circassian
The USS Circassian was a prize captured by 4 May 1862 by the USS Somerset, purchased from the prize court 8 November 1862 and commissioned 12 December 1862.
She was used as a supply steamer between the North and both the East and West Gulf Blockading Squadrons during the duration of the war.
