USS Oneida

The USS Oneida was a screw sloop launched 20 November 1861, commissioned 28 February 1862 and assigned to the West Gulf Blockading Squadron shortly afterwards. She arrived at South West Pass on 26 March 1862 and remained in the squadron until the summer of 1865.
